The first delivery of Moderna vaccines is expected in Bulgaria and all EU countries on January 13. This is the second vaccine against COVID-19 approved by the European Commission. Bulgaria expects 2,400 doses during the first delivery, Bogdan Kirilov, Member of the Management Board at European Medicines Agency said at a meeting with Premier Borissov.
On January 18, Bulgaria will receive 35,000 doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine. About 4,000 doses of Moderna vaccine are expected in Bulgaria on January 25, and another 35,000 doses of Pfizer/ BioNTech vaccine are to arrive in Bulgaria on February 2, BTA reported.
