Eurohold has overcome the latest regulatory requirement to acquire the Bulgarian assets of CEZ Electro Bulgaria. The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission has authorized a deal for acquiring 67% of the electricity distribution company's assets, BNR’s Horizont program reported. The sale of CEZ's Bulgarian assets could not be completed for several years. Initially, the Commission for Protection of Competition did not authorize the deal because Eurohold was mainly involved in insurance.
