Bulgaria to adopt roadmap for OECD membership

In a video conference meeting with Ulrik Knudsen, Deputy Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Prime Minister Boyko Borissov discussed Bulgaria's path to membership in the organization, BTA reported.

"As an EU Member State, Bulgaria meets a significant part of the OECD's standards and best practices and we are highly prepared to accept the obligations and responsibilities of OECD membership," PM Borissov said. He reiterated this country’s commitment to take the necessary actions for start of accession talks. A three-year roadmap for the period 2021-2023 has also been prepared, the Prime Minister added.
