Tsvetana Pironkova qualifies for second round of Yarra Valley Classic tennis tournament

Bulgaria’s best female tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova scored an easy victory versus Liudmila Samsonova (Russia) in a match of the first round of Yarra Valley Classic tennis tournament in Melbourne with a total prize fund of USD 565,000.

 Pironkova defeated Samsonova 6:2, 6:1. Pironkova is to face Donna Vekić (Croatia) in the second round of the tournament. Yarra Valley Classic is a lead-up tournament to the 2021 Australian Open, which is to begin on February 8.
