The Central Election Commission has registered 31 parties and 8 coalitions for the forthcoming Parliamentary elections in April, reports BTA.

For comparison, 18 parties and 9 coalitions applied for the general elections in 2017. Four parties and one coalition crossed the 4% electoral threshold, reminds BTA. The political parties and coalitions must collect at least 2,500 signatures in support of their candidacy. The lists are subject to checks. The application deadline expired at 17.00 pm today.
