Foreign Minister Zaharieva awards best foreign students

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva awarded the best foreign students in the “Student of the year” competition.

The award is given by the National Association of Student Councils in Bulgaria. Minister Zaharieva stated that in many places around the world she had met people who have graduated from universities in Bulgaria. “They love our country at least as much as we do. They are some of our vigorous ambassadors in the world,” Ekaterina Zaharieva said.

First prize in the “Foreign student in Bulgaria” category was awarded to Prasidha Rai from Great Britain who is studying medicine in Pleven. Awards also went to Stavros Gerasudis from Greece and Simona Miteva from North Macedonia.
