Badminton: Bulgarian women’s double qualifies for finals in Basel

European women’s doubles champions Stefani Stoeva and Gabriela Stoeva qualified for the finals of the prestigious badminton Super 300 tournament in Basel, Switzerland.

The Bulgarian competitors defeated Jongkolphan Kititharakul and Rawinda Prajongja from Thailand by 21-16, 21-14 in 51 minutes. The Thai playersare ranked in 8th and the Bulgarian players in 14th position. 

At the finals the champions of Bulgaria will be playing versus Pearly Tan/Thinaah Muralitharan of Malaysia.

The Stoev sisters are vice champions from Basel in 2017 and 2018. In 2019 they dropped out at the semi-finals.
