Nineteen-year-old Italian Sophie Mathiou won the women’s slalom at the FIS Alpine Junior Ski Championships Bansko 2021. She stopped the clock at 1:40.24 minutes. In the first leg she finished fifth (49,71 seconds), but managed to earn the gold after a strong performance in the second leg of the event when she stopped the clock at 50,53 seconds.
