The conditions for skiing in the big mountain resorts in Bulgaria are excellent. The facilities in Borovets /Rila/ and Bansko /Pirin/ will operate also during the school holidays, which is from 3 to 11 April. In Pamporovo /Rhodopes/ it was also decided to extend the season until April 11.

The conditions for practicing winter sports on Vitosha are also good.

The ski resorts authorities assure that all anti-epidemic measures are observed.

The avalanche danger outside the official ski slopes remains high and that is why the authorities call on skiers and tourists to use only the processed and marked trails in order to avoid accidents in the mountains, BNR reported.
