Bulgaria has distanced itself from a nationalist political video

After a note received from North Macedonia over a pre-election video by MEP Angel Dzhambazki, the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it considered the video inappropriate. It has been pointed out that the messages in the video do not express the official position of the Bulgarian government. Bulgaria has no territorial claims to other countries and this has been repeatedly declared.

We point out that this video by a Bulgarian politician comes after the 3-day silence of the government of North Macedonia, which was called on to distance itself from defamatory publications of the Slovenian non-governmental organization "International Institute for Middle East and Balkan Studies”, the statement reads.
