"Much has been done over the years to keep Bulgarians away from politics, which benefits the enemies of freedom. Hundreds of thousands of compatriots abroad will not be able to vote for the future of Bulgaria again. Despite our disappointments, we have the right to vote for our future every four years. On polling day each one of us, young and old, rich and poor, plays an equal part in determining Bulgaria's destiny and must do it critically and consciously. He who does not vote, leaves the fate of his motherland, his own destiny and the destiny of his relatives at the mercy of someone else’s choice. On Sunday, everything depends on us", stated Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev in an address to the people, announced the press office of this country’s head of state.
