First Israeli tourists arrive in Varna

The first Israeli tourists arrived in Golden Sands resort on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast. A group of 125 people landed at Varna Airport.  Flights to Varna will be performed every Thursday and Sunday. Visitors can choose between a three, four and seven-day stay.

The outlook for the tourist season is negative, because there is strong competition on the tourism market and because this country requires arrivals to present a negative result from a Covid-19 PCR test, predicted the Honorary Consul of Israel in Burgas Orlin Mandov.

By April 25, Bulgaria is to take a decision regarding the entry regime for foreign guests, promised this country’s outgoing Minister of Health Kostadin Angelov.
