UEFA and FIFA inquire over way Borislav Mihaylov returned to position of BFU head

The world and European football headquarters FIFA and UEFA have called for an explanation from the Bulgarian Football Union about the way Borislav Mihaylov, who previously resigned from the BFU chairman’s position, has managed to return to office before the extraordinary congress of the BFU, approved by Zurich.

The football headquarters sent a letter over the latest news that Mihaylov whose resignation was submitted in October 2019 has taken up the position again and called for clarification on the provisions of the Bulgarian Football Union or the relevant national legislation that allowed for the withdrawal of the resignation.
