Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has bowed before the monument to those killed in the April Uprising in the village of Radilovo near the town of Peshtera, where he made a visit on St. George's Day, the Presidency announced.

"The caretaker government, like any other caretaker government, will serve Bulgaria - this is its duty and right under the Constitution. The date is July 11 for the elections! I cannot dissolve the National Assembly before May 11, because, according to the Constitution, we must observe those "no more than two months". If I dissolve it earlier, as insisted, it means that the elections will take place on July 4, and the Central Election Commission cannot prepare the elections for July 4 because there will be no time," the president said.
