Bulgaria's Gergana Topalova wins tennis tournament in Egypt

Tennis player Gergana Topalova has won the 4th title in her career at the $ 15,000 red court tournament in Cairo. In the final she defeated the Russian Elina Avanesyan with 6: 3, 6: 3. The 21-year-old Bulgarian already has two trophies in Egypt after the title in 2018. She currently ranks 461st in the world rankings.

Bulgaria's young hopeful in men's tennis Adrian Andreev also played in the final today, but lost in Antalya with a prize fund of 15 thousand dollars. He lost to Alexander Erler from Austria with 4:6, 1: 6. Thus, the Bulgarian tennis player who ranks 379th in the world rankings failed to win a third title in tournaments in this category.
