Exhibition shows how Bulgarian schools abroad celebrate May 24

The town of Veliko Tarnovo (Central North Bulgaria) hosts the photo exhibition “Together Around the World on May 24”. The selected photos show how the Bulgarian schools abroad celebrate May 24, Day of Slavonic Script, Bulgarian Enlightenment and Culture. 16 Sunday schools in Australia, the USA, Canada and Europe are participating at the exhibition with their own photos.

The event is organized by “Together Around the World” Association and the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo. “The Bulgarian schools abroad and their teachers, who make great efforts to protect and preserve the Bulgarian language, are the invisible heroes”, writer Andrey Petrov, Chairman of “Together Around the World” Association said for the BNR.
