The replacement of top figures in the National Customs Agency and the National Revenue Agency is an attempt to control the state apparatus, said Tomislav Donchev, Deputy Chairman of GERB party.

According to GERB’s former MP Toma Bikov, there is a connection between the latest appointments and businessman Vasil Bozhkov. "The goal of the caretaker cabinet is to help the oligarchs who live abroad regain their position in Bulgaria’s government. We are calling on Bulgaria’s caretaker Minister of Finance to answer whether the newly-appointed Executive Director of the National Revenue Agency Rumen Spetsov has lived in Dubai in the recent years”, said Toma Bikov at a press conference.
