Vice President Iliana Yotova to attend anniversary event of Banat Bulgarians

Today, Bulgaria marks the 80th anniversary since the release of more than 1,100 ethnic Bulgarian prisoners from a camp near Timisoara, Romania. The ceremony will take place at 7 pm in the courtyard of the Roman Catholic Cathedral of St. Joseph in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia. 

This country’s Vice President Iliana Yotova will attend the event entitled "The List of Salvation". It is organized by the Society of Banat Bulgarians in Bulgaria, Archives State Agency, Bulgarian Memory Foundation and the Cathedral of St. Joseph.
