Despite the coronavirus crisis, the budget revenues are expected to exceed EUR 24.3 billion and this country’s GDP is expected to reach EUR 63.6 billion. Bulgarians produce an average of EUR 174.3 million per calendar day, which means that it took them 140 days to fill the treasury.
Working Bulgarians continue to pay more and more to the treasury. Thus, the money used to pay for the anti-crisis measures, is primarily paid by the taxpayers who bear the burden of the pandemic, notes the Institute for Market Economics
