National Revenue Agency finds serios violations at border checkpoints

A company which holds tens of millions of Euros in cash has not connected some of its cash registers to the system of the National Revenue Agency (NRA), the Executive Director of the revenue agency Rumen Spetsov announced at a briefing at Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint. 

The competent authorities have found similar violations at other border crossings. The damage caused to the state treasury is yet to be estimated. The list of individuals and companies that could be sanctioned by the United States under the Global Magnitsky Act will be updated next week, added Rumen Spetsov.
