The Central Election Commission has invited Ciela Norma for negotiations on the public tender for supply of another 1,500 machines needed for the upcoming parliamentary elections. If it responds to the invitation for a meting today, the company will receive a draft agreement so that it can present a price offer for the machines tomorrow.
The company delivered 9,600 machines for the elections in April and now it is expected to provide another 1,500 devices. The CEC set a budget of 3.3 million euros for the additional machines, but the company wants about 7.5 million euros, saying that otherwise it would go bankrupt.
