The National Association of Municipalities demanded, at a meeting with interim Prime Minister Stefan Yanev, that the national post-Covid recovery plan be submitted to the European Commission urgently.
On his part PM Yanev said: “We have set ourselves the task of seeking legislative changes that will improve the life of citizens and the way businesses function.” He expressed the hope that the proposals will be ready by the end of the term of office of the caretaker cabinet so they can be submitted to the next parliament.
