Majority shareholder of PFC Levski Nasko Sirakov announced he was breaking off contact with Joseph Dixon regarding the transfer of the controlling stake of the club. The announcement was made on Levski’s website.

“I want to thank Mr. Dixon for the interest demonstrated but the significant divergence between the stated investment intentions and the ensuing actions do not lead me to believe that he is the investor Levski needs. I have not been given any reasonable assurance of the amount or of the origin of the money that was supposed to be invested in the club and in the Arena Vivacom-Georgi Asparuhov stadium,” reads the letter by Nasko Sirakov addressed to the fans of the football club.
