Call for national effort against pandemic

Summer is the best time for a national effort to overcome the pandemic. It comes down to something simple and proven – vaccination of more people. This was what Minister of Health Dr. Stoycho Katsarov said at a meeting with the Public Council in support of the information campaign for vaccination.

"The Roma community has low trust in vaccines, especially in RNA vaccines. People believed in pseudo-information that the vaccines could change DNA and that they could program a person," Zahari Atanasov of the National Network of Health Mediators says. "Muslims are not skeptical, but it seems that the campaign has not reached these settlements. There is no adequate information provided and vaccination levels are low," a representative of the Grand Mufti's Office said.
