Weather forecast for Wednesday, 7 June, 2021

Warm summer weather, code green for the whole country

On Wednesday the weather will be predominantly sunny, with a temporary increase of clouds, and occasional rain and thunder. There will be a light to moderate wind. Maximum temperatures 30° to 35°, in Sofia 31° C.

Over the Black Sea coast the weather will be sunny with a temporary increase of clouds and occasional showers. Maximum temperatures 24° - 28° C. Temperatures will be cooler along the Northern portion of the Black Sea coastline with a maximum of around 24° C, in Varna up to 27° C. Weather along the southern portion of the coastline will be hotter, reaching 28° C in Burgas. Temperature of the sea water 22°-24° C, sea state 2-3.

In the mountains the weather will be sunny with cumulous clouds gathering in the afternoon and showers in the Eastern portion of the country. Maximum temperature at 1,200 metres up to 24°, at 2,000 metres - 11° to 17° C. In the resorts of Borovets and Pamporovo temperatures will reach 23°, in Bansko and Smolyan 28° C.

The weather until the end of the week will continue predominantly sunny, with cumulous clouds gathering around midday and in the afternoon. Temperatures will reach 35° C.
