The Ministry of Interior is expected to question Bulgaria’s former Premier Boyko Borissov today. Two days ago Borissov announced at a briefing that he was summoned for interrogation on July 14. “I do not know what to expect from the Minister of Interior Boyko Raskov. Perhaps they will ask me why I participated at the Parliamentary elections”, commented Boyko Borissov. Later, however, this country’s Minister of Interior Boyko Raskov said that he knew nothing about such an interrogation.

Boyko Borissov is likely to be questioned over the so-called “Cannibal Case”. Before the elections Minister Rashkov told about his meeting with an anonymous witness who claimed that Borissov had allegedly threatened him with the following words: “You have a wife and children who will not know if they are not eating your meat.”
