Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Wednesday, 21 July

Green weather code across the whole country, occasional showers are possible in Northeastern Bulgaria

Winds are expected in the Danubian Plain and the western parts of the Upper Thracian Plain on Wednesday. The weather in Western and Central Bulgaria will be predominantly sunny. Clouds will develop in Eastern Bulgaria. Occasional showers and thunderstorms are possible in the far northeastern parts of the country. The maximum temperatures will fluctuate between 27°C and 32°C, in Sofia- 27°C.

Local showers and thunderstorms are expected along the northern Black Sea coast. Sunny weather is in the forecast for the southern coastline. The maximum temperatures will be between 30°C on Cape Kaliakra and 32°C in Burgas. Seawater temperature- 27°C. Sea state 2-3.

Over the mountains the weather will be sunny before noon. Moderate to strong northwesterly winds are also in the forecast. The maximum temperatures at 1,200 meters- 21°C, at 2,000 meters- 12°C. In the resorts of Pamporovo and Borovets the maximum temperatures will reach 21°C. In Smolyan, Bansko and Dobrinishte- 26°C.

In the next 3 days the weather will be sunny. Clouds will develop only in the mountain areas and in Southwestern Bulgaria. Occasional showers are possible in these parts of the country in the afternoon hours.
