Weather forecast for Bulgaria on July 28, 2021

Yellow code for dangerous heat across Bulgaria on Wednesday

It will be sunny and hot in Bulgaria on Wednesday. The rise in temperatures will continue and daytime highs will go to 35 °C -40 °C, in Sofia - 37 °C.

The weather along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast will be sunny with a sea breeze. The maximum temperatures will be from 28 °C on Cape Shabla to 31 °C in Burgas. The temperature of the sea water is at 26 °C - 27 °C. 

It will also be sunny over the mountains. Short showers are expected in certain places in mountainous regions in southwestern Bulgaria. The temperature at 1,200 metres will be up to 30 °C, at 2,000 metres - about 24 °C. In the resorts of Pamporovo and Borovets the temperatures will be 28-29 °C, and in Smolyan and Bansko 33-34 °C.

Until the end of July the weather is expected to remain sunny and very hot with temperatures going as high as 43 °C, with cloudy spells at parts, but no precipitation.
