Bulgaria’s football champion Ludogorets qualified for the third preliminary round of the champions League, after winning, in Razgrad, versus Mura, Slovenia by 3-1, after a goalless draw in the first match.
In the 4th minute of the match Ludogorets scored their first goal but missed many other goal opportunities. In the 64th minute the team from Slovenia drew, but by the 82nd minute Ludogorets was once again in the lead by 2-1. Their third goal came in the 90th minute.
In the third preliminary round in August, Ludogorets will play versus Olympiacos, Greece. Ludogorets’ senior coach Valdas Dambrauskas commented that Olympiacos is not an insurmountable opponent.
