Number of newly infected with Covid-19 rises for 4th day

There have been 231 new coronavirus cases in Bulgaria for a day or 15 more compared to the previous day. 1.53% of 15,092 tests returned positive result, according to the Single Coronavirus Information Portal. In 3 districts - Vidin, Vratsa and Veliko Tarnovo, there were no new patients registered. Most of the newly infected are in Sofia – 43, and in Plovdiv - 38.

The number of registered coronavirus patients rose from 7,702 to 7,882. The number of hospitalized patients also rose to 764 as 79 patients are treated in intensive care. Three people with Covid-19 passed away. The recoveries were 48.

On Thursday, 12,222 people were vaccinated. The total doses administered have already reached 2,013,988. A total of 991,535 Bulgarians have completed the immunization process.
