Extreme fire risk in Bulgaria, weather remains sunny and hot

Extreme fire risk exists in 16 districts of the country, authorities have reported. The weather remains sunny and hot and temperatures will rise to reach 32-37°C.

The weather over the Black Sea coast is sunny with temperatures between 28 and 31 °C. Temperature of the sea water is 26-27 °C.

It will be mostly sunny over the mountains. The highest temperature at 1200 m will be 29 degrees, and at 2000 m - 22 degrees. On Monday there will be more clouds in the afternoon over the mountains in southwestern Bulgaria, where short rainfalls are expected. In the first half of the new week temperatures will keep rising and the highest will be between 34 and 39 degrees.
