5.9% Covid-19 positivity rate in Bulgaria in past day

384 is the number of newly registered coronavirus cases out of 6,502 tests performed in the country over the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 5.9%, Single Coronavirus Portal data show. The highest number of new infections is in Sofia - 95, in Varna – 49 and in Plovdiv - 34.

2,452 patients are being treated in hospital, 202 of them in intensive care. Eight people have died in the past day, 46 have recovered. The number of active cases is 21,178.

2,390 doses of vaccine have been administered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of vaccinations to 2,218,947. The number of people now fully vaccinated in the country is 1,113,213.
