Weather forecast for Friday, 10 September

Temperatures are expected to increase slightly

On Friday, the clouds will begin to disperse. Sunny weather is in the forecast for most parts of the country in the afternoon hours. The weather will remain cloudy only in Eastern Bulgaria. Occassional showers are possible in the far southeast regions. The maximum temperatures will range from 22° C to 27°C. In Sofia, the minimum temperature will be 9°C, the maximum temperature-23°C.

Over the Black Sea coast, there will be scattered to significant clouds. Precipitation is in the forecast for the far south. The maximum air temperatures 23°C-24°C will be the same as the temperature of the seawater. Sea state 3.

Over the mountains the clouds will begin to disperse. The maximum temperature at 1,200 meters will be around 16°C, at 2,000 meters- around 10°C. In the resorts of Borovets and Pamporovo temperatures will reach 15°C. In Bansko- 21°C.

During the weekend the clouds in many Bulgarian regions will begin to disperse. Local showers are possible in the mountain regions in the afternoon hours. There will be more significant clouds in Eastern Bulgaria. The maximum temperatures will rise by 1 to 2 degrees, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology announced.
