The dissolution of the 46th National Assembly is a matter of days, said Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev during the hearing of the new candidate for a member of the Central Election Commission (CEC) from the quota of ITN party - Gergana Stoyanova. She was heard by the head of state and a special commission, as required by the Electoral Code. The commission's conclusion is that Stoyanova has the qualities to become a member of the CEC in place of the resigned Lyubomir Gavrilov, also from the quota of ITN.

The dissolution of parliament was discussed by the president also at a meeting with caretaker ministers. The dissolution decree is expected to be issued immediately after the final update of the state budget.
