Bulgarian Red Cross marks World First Aid Day

The theme of this year’s World First Aid Day is - Be a hero at your school and in the community! 

Today, the members of the youth emergency team, Sofia, of the university emergency rescue team, and of Firstaid.bg will demonstrate the most important first aid techniques at the Bulgarian Red Cross facility in Lozen.

Marquees will be put up in which there will be demonstrations of response techniques in life-threatening situations, bone fractures, accidents at school, handling of casualties. At 12 noon all participants and guests will take each other by the hand to form the traditional human chain in support of first aid for all people who need it.
