Bulgaria records nearly 10% GDP growth in second quarter

According to the National Statistical Institute, Bulgaria's GDP grew by 9.9% in the second quarter compared to the same period last year. The increase is the largest for the last three decades and GDP continues to grow by 0.6% compared to the first three months of the year. 

The domestic product produced amounted to over BGN 31 billion in the second quarter. The share of industry decreased by about one percent to 27.2%, the agricultural sector retained its share in the value added of the economy, and that of services grew slightly by more than 1%. 
Nearly 80% of the produced GDP is spent on final consumption during the quarter.
