The Central Election Commission will buy another 1,600 voting machines for the forthcoming elections on November 14. Thus, Bulgaria will be able to secure the two-in-one election (Presidential and Parliamentary elections) and the machine voting abroad, even if a Presidential run-off election takes place.

In this case, Bulgaria will need 840 more voting machines and half of them will be sent abroad. A total of 2,119 polling stations in Bulgaria will be equipped with a second voting machine, announced the Chairperson of the Central Election Commission Kamelia Neykova. A second voting machine will be placed in polling stations where the number of votes exceeded 320 at the previous early general elections on July 11, the Deputy Chairperson of the Central Election Commission Emil Voynov clarified.
