A successful 5-hour liver transplant operation was performed at the Military Medical Academy. The 41-year-old transplant patient is in satisfactory condition and is responsive, Prof. Nikola Vladov, head of the transplant team commented.
The donor is a 54-year-old male. The Military Medical Academy's management expresses its gratitude to the family of the deceased donor from Stara Zagora, who gave their permission for the transplantation at this difficult time for them.
