Bulgaria exports record amounts of electricity - about 2,000 MW per hour

The management of the Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH) and the energy companies of the group have discussed at a working meeting the readiness of the energy sites for the winter season, BGNES reports. Currently, all facilities in the country that produce electricity are operating at full capacity and action must be taken to ensure reserves in adverse winter weather conditions. 

There are record levels of exports of about 2,000 MW per hour from Bulgaria to countries in the region, according to BEH.
