New charges raised against IMF director Kristalina Georgieva

The International Monetary Fund has announced that it will soon decide whether IMF managing director Kristalina Georgieva will keep her post. After a meeting that ended later last night, it became clear that the fund's executive board has made significant progress on the case. 

Georgieva has been accused of manipulating data in favour of China while running the World Bank, but she denies guilt. 
Meanwhile, Bloomberg reported that in late July, as IMF chief executive, Kristalina Georgieva together with officials softened the warning of environmental risks to Brazil's economy after President Jair Bolsonaro's government objected to the findings
