Bulgaria’s Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev has proposed the establishment of a National Interdepartmental Unit in connection with the forthcoming Presidential and Parliamentary elections on November 14.

Ivan Geshev sent a letter to this country‘s caretaker Minister of Interior Boyko Rashkov and to the Chairman of the State Agency for National Security Plamen Tonchev. “This structure has shown good results in the interest of citizens for more than 10 years”, Ivan Geshev notes in his letter. At the early general elections held on July 11 this year, the Prosecutor's Office signed an agreement for the establishment of an interdepartmental unit with the State Agency for National Security only.
