“Our suffering is the result of the disastrous vaccination rate. The primary goal of the new anti-epidemic measures is to protect the country so that hospitals don’t have to turn patients away. One in seven patients hospitalized with coronavirus dies,” Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov said for bTV. “The green certificate is a way for people to go on working. This document gives entry everywhere,” Minister Katsarov added.

“People without a green certificate can get a test at the entrance of restaurants, bars, gyms, cinemas, theatres, the tests will be free of charge,” Deputy Minister of Health Alexander Zlatanov, on his part, said for BNR.

School teachers will be given 15 days to get vaccinated. On 25 October a decision will be made whether schools in Sofia will shift to remote learning, Alexander Zlatanov said.
