The Regional History Museum-Sofia, which is located in the former Central Mineral Bath building, offers a virtual tour of its permanent exhibition. The exhibits are displayed in 8 halls which trace the development of the city from the 6th millennium BC until the middle of the 20th century. Visitors can now access the exhibition online. They can visit the exhibition halls in chronological order, or visit a specific exhibition hall. Archaeological finds, icons, frescoes, church items that once belonged to the monasteries around Sofia, Prince Ferdinand’s wedding carriage and desk and a Mercedes car manufactured in 1905, are among the artefacts displayed at the exhibition.
The virtual tour is based on a 3D technology. Interactive markers provide specific information about some of the most emblematic еxhibits.
