Bulgaria’s rhythmic gymnastics team will not compete at World Cup

The Olympic champions of the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Ensemble will not participate at the World Cup. It starts on October 27 in the Japanese city of Kitakyushu. The reason is Laura Traats’ injury. The information has been confirmed by the International Federation.

The Bulgarians went to Japan extremely well prepared and with a great desire to win their last competition as a team! But after two training sessions at Kitakyushu, Traets experienced severe pain. The doctor of the team has determined that the injury does not allow the gymnast to participate in the competition.

Bulgaria will be represented in the individual competition by Boryana Kaleyn and Tatyana Volozhanina, who will make her debut at the World Cup.
