Bulgaria’s caretaker Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov referred Boyko Borisov’s statement that expired Covid-19 vaccines are administered in this country to the Prosecutor's Office.

Minister Katsarov notes that on October 24, in a statement before the media, the leader of GERB party and former Premier Boyko Borissov stated that “Bulgaria’s population is inoculated against coronavirus with Pfizer vaccines that expired on September 30”. Bulgaria’s Ministry of Health is adamant that all vaccines administered in Bulgaria are within the shelf life approved for the respective product and that Borissov’s statement is fake news.
