Bulgarian artist Ilian Kolev receives prize at Salon d'Automne in Paris

The painting by Bulgarian artist Ilian Kolev entitled "Construction IX" has received an award at the Autumn Salon in Paris from the jury of the Salon d'Automne de Paris association. The abstractionist painter was chosen to participate in the salon for the second year in a row by a prestigious jury along with 890 artists from around the world.

The canvas was awarded along with the works from the different sections of the salon: painting, sculpture, design, digital arts, engraving, architecture, photography and more. Kolev's painting measures 100 by 81 centimetres and is made in the technique of acrylic on canvas.

The Autumn Salon in Paris is an extremely successful annual cultural event that gathers 30,000 visitors each season, as well as many collectors and gallery owners.
