Authorities break drug trafficking scheme from Mexico

Liquid methamphetamine worth more than 5.5m euros was found at Sofia Airport. The recipient of 550 liters hidden among two types of bottled products was also detained. The drugs were sent from Mexico, Stefan Bakalov of the Customs Agency has told the BNR.

"The value of the drug on the black market in Europe can reach more than 17-20 million euros. The purpose of the investigation is to shed light on all participants in the trafficking scheme, Ivan Kochiev of the Prosecutor's Office, said.
