Caretaker cabinet allocates new funds for purchase of Remdesivir

The Council of Ministers has approved the allocation of additional funds to the budget of the Ministry of Health for 2021, totaling 12,150,000 euros with VAT, for the purchase of 30,000 vials of Remdesivir (INN Remdesivir), the government's press service reported. The drug is intended for the treatment of patients with coronavirus.

The government has also allocated over 23 million euros for the purchase of 1,533,000 Covid-19 vaccines
