Sofia City Court releases attacker of an LGBT centre in Sofia

Boyan Stankov-Rasate, who was charged with disorderly conduct, has not pleaded guilty. The Prosecutor's Office had asked the Sofia City Court to remand in custody Boyan Rasate. However, the court has released Boyan Stankov. He has a bail bond of EUR 500. The court's decision may be challenged.

Boyan Rasate was detained after carrying out an attack at a Sofia-based LGBT centre. The detention took place with the permission of the Central Election Commission, because Boyan Stankov is a presidemtial candidate.
