President to convene new parliament as soon as possible

After the names of the MPs are announced, I will convene the National Assembly as soon as possible. I believe that the parties would overcome their differences in the name of a common future and that there would be a stable majority, President Rumen Radev said. He was present at the oath of the new constitutional judges Yanaki Stoilov and Sonya Yankulova.

"We need the possibility for an individual constitutional complaint. It has already been introduced in most EU countries. I am sure that it will increase the confidence of Bulgarian citizens in the constitution, in democracy, and in the institutions. This is related to changes to the Constitution, changes in the Law on the Constitutional Court and expansion of its powers," President Radev added.
